Technical Leadership

At the heart of RASC's technical capability is Craig Botha, Chief Technical Advisor, whose career spanning over 30 years in corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and asset integrity management provides the technical compass for the business. Craig's experience extends from hands-on pipeline investigations and coating assessments to strategic consultancy for major operators, and his published research on AC corrosion and cathodic protection continues to challenge conventional industry assumptions. 

Craig's role as Chief Technical Advisor ensures that every RASC engagement — whether a complex interference study, an integrity assessment, or a professional development programme — is grounded in real-world expertise, international best practice, and a commitment to advancing the discipline.
